The goal of this one-day trip was primarily to spend quality time in nature exploring the beauty of neighboring Slovenia. As the event took place shortly after the arrival of international students in Zagreb, the focus was on getting to know each other, socializing and creating friendships between students who arrived from various countries. Of course, a plus was that the gathering took place in the beautiful surroundings of Lake Bled and lovely Ljubljana. Thanks to the guides who told the students a lot about the history of Ljubljana, the excursion also had an educational purpose.
Our first international trip this semester is to Ljubljana - city of Dragons š and Lake Bled!
Ljubljana is the capital and the largest city in Slovenia. Ā The term āloveā is in the name of Ljubljana itself, which sounds similar to āljubljenaā (loved woman). ā„ļø Beside that, Ljubljana's charm is hidden in Ljubljana Castle located above the old town with a beautiful view of the city and the main town square.Ā
On the other hand, Lake Bled is the pearl of the Slovenian Alps and well known for their KremÅ”nita dessert š°Ā
