The goal of this two-day excursion is to get to know the history, culture and natural beauty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which was once in the same state union with the Republic of Croatia, so it is important for students who came to Zagreb for an exchange not to miss getting to know this beautiful country. The excursion will have an educational purpose, where the emphasis will be placed on getting to know the tragic history of this war-torn country, but also the current complicated political situation in the country, which is a direct consequence of the war. Then, so that everything is not so dark, students will have the opportunity to see why the Bosnian people are known as one of the best hosts - at a traditional dinner with excellent local food and music! Then follows the third, but no less important goal of this excursion, which is to socialize with Erasmus students from Slovenia and Bosnia and Herzegovina at a big joint party in order to truly experience the beauty of intercultural exchange. :-)

Sarajevo is the capital city of BiH. Sarajevo lies on the river Miljacka and is surrounded by mountains on all sides and other beautiful natural landscapes 🏞. It also has the beautiful and world famous Baščaršija street in the city centre. There you will be able to try many famous Bosnian dishes 🥩, drink Turkish coffee ☕, eat baklava and even go to a shisha bar that is also a library.
Once you are done sightseeing, on Saturday night you can join big Erasmus party that will be hosted by ESN Sarajevo at a night club Sloga! 🥳
