Trip to Plitvice Lakes National Park & Memorial Center Tesla

Plitvice Lakes can be found on every Croatia-must-see list, and ESN Zadar agrees! Despite cloudy autumn weather, students and volunteers departed early in the morning. First stop was Smiljan - birthplace of Nikola Tesla, where students visited interactive memorial center dedicated to him. They visited his birth home, seen replicas of his inventions and heard a presentation about his life. They then continued to Plitvice Lakes National Park where they explored the area by foot and by boat - even rain didn't stop them!
