The goal of the event was to promote the cultural and historical knowledge of the visited city, such as Naples, through sightseeing activities and guided tours. It also aimed to encourage socialization among international students from different countries, creating opportunities for meeting and exchanging experiences. Additionally, the event supported the integration of international students into local communities by collaborating with associations like ESN to offer cultural and social activities. The intention was to provide an engaging, well-organized, and comfortable travel experience, combining cultural, recreational, and logistical support.
The trip started with an early departure from Trento, and the group reached Naples in the afternoon. After settling into their accommodation, they explored the Santa Chiara Monastic Complex and admired Castel Nuovo, two important landmarks of the city. Later, they took part in a guided walk led by ESN Napoli volunteers, who shared interesting insights into Naples’ culture and history. The evening continued in the lively Spanish Quarter, where the group enjoyed time together in a local bar, meeting other international students and volunteers.
During their stay, the participants also visited the Archaeological Museum of Naples, discovering its remarkable collection of ancient artifacts. They then had the opportunity to stroll freely around the city and enjoy lunch at their own pace. In the afternoon, the journey back to Trento began, with several stops along the way, and the group eventually arrived around midnight.
