Trip to Lake Bled

We went to Bled by renting a private bus at the weekend. Unfortunately, it was raining all day, with just a few moments of pause. Once we arrived to Bled, we went straight to the Castle up a hill. After taking a few breath-taking photos of lake Bled from above, we visited the museum inside the Castle, which showcased the history of Bled. After that, we had a long lunch break at the Christmas markets near the lake, where we tasted some local dishes. Then, we attempted to take a walk around the lake, but the rain became so heavy that we stopped halfway and went back to the town, where we took shelter in a famous local café and tasted a typical dessert, the Bled cake, before leaving for Trieste.
