To provide Erasmus students with an opportunity to explore Slovakia’s cultural heritage through a guided visit to Čičmany, a historic village known for its unique architecture and traditions, fostering appreciation for local culture and promoting intercultural dialogue.
The trip to Čičmany included a bus ride from Žilina to the picturesque village, followed by a guided tour showcasing its famous painted wooden houses, traditional crafts, and local history. Participants visited museums to learn about Slovak folklore, costumes, and rural life. The event provided insights into Slovakia's cultural identity while encouraging interaction between international students and local guides. The day concluded with time for group discussions, photography, and enjoying the scenic surroundings.
