Goal of the Activity
To raise awareness in the local community with the help of international students.
Description
International students were invited to register for a flashmob and a treasure hunt in occasion of the World AIDS day. After the flashmob was held in one of Padua's city center's busiest areas, participants who registered in pairs for the treasure hunt went around town to complete challenges aimed at testing and expanding their knowledge about AIDS. While doing so, they carried around red balloons and ribbons to draw attention to the event. In the meantime, ESN volunteers held a stand that informed passers-by about AIDS and, thanks to the volunteers of the Italian Red Cross, gave free AIDS tests.
