Goal of the Activity

Students had an opportunity to see local heritage from underground and to hear some interesting legends and stories about history of one of the biggest fortresses in Europe.

Description

[Masks and social distancing are mandatory]
[Mandatory sign up below - limited number of participants]

Have you heard stories about the dragon that feasts on tourists and treasures in the Petrovaradin fortress underground? Or of the hidden nazi train, the tunnel beneath the Danube river? Here's your chance to find out if the myths are true!

We are going to an adventure with “3D World – UGRIP”, who are exploring the underground and struggling for its preservation. Ahead of us lie more than 25 kilometres of tunnels of which only 900 meters are officially explored. The maize of the tunnels is shaped in four levels of defense with more than 10 floors of galleries one beneath the other.

CAUTION: if you're claustrophobic or afraid of the dark, this is NOT the tour for you. In case you do get scared during the tour and want to leave, the guides can let you out within 2-3 mins. Remember that you are attending the tour at your own responsibility!

IMPORTANT RULES TO FOLLOW:
1) Dress comfortably and wear layers, it can get cold. DO tie your hair or wear a hoodie, DON'T wear hats.
2) Bring a flash light or have your phone ready to light your way with its flash.
3) Bring a bottle of water; any food is optional but welcome.
4) It is forbidden to come to the tour drunk, drink alcohol during it, as well as leave any trash in the tunnels.
6) You must listen to the tour guide's instructions carefully.
7) Don't forget your mask!
