The goal of the activity was to celebrate the Christmas holidays together and to stay together before the end of the semester in the name of Italian tradition, through a famous and fun Christmas game.
The event was held thanks to the Google Meet platform and the site Tombola gratis online. The participants were gathered in a WhatsApp group where a regulation in English and some historical notes regarding Tombola were sent. The group was also used to check the folders at the beginning and during the game. We deliberately used a game platform in Italian to bring everyone closer to Tombola with the relative meanings combined with the numbers that we readily explained in English to participants, intrigued by traditional symbolism. As prizes for the various "ambo", "terno" etc. we have opted for food and drink vouchers from our partners, in order to keep collaborations alive even in a period where it is not physically possible to carry out events in presence and, above all, in order to be able to encourage - in our own small way - the economy of our trusted locals, given the unhappy moment for this particular category.
