Increasing the awareness about Tomasz Beksiński, education about the connections between art reception and art creation and one's mental condition, promotion of mental well-being focused foundations and free psychological help options
The idea of our event comes from the figure of Tomasz Beksiński - son of the famous artist Zdzisław Beksiński. Tomasz was one of the most significant radio presenters and contemporary music experts of his time in Poland. We believed that the cognizance of younger Beksinski wasn't as high as it should be, so we decided to dedicate this event to him. As he was struggling with mental health issues his whole life, besides biographical aspects, the other idea behind the activities was to educate and analyse how exactly mental state affects the processes of art creation and art reception
