To strenghten our relationships so we can cooperate more effectively. Make the workshops and sessions more interactive. Being responsible by picking up the trash and separation. Including some sport activities and hike.
During the last weekend of November, 30 members of ESN Zlin took part in Teambuilding in Chata u Krmelca. Because this semester we are full of newbies and active members, teambuilding was focused on getting to know each other or working together in teams at games and workshops as well as introducing every position in board. We started the first day with dinner, in which we participated in the preparation and cleaning together as it was the following days when preparing each meal. We also did not forget to sort waste and regular taking out the rubbish so that we can get up in a clean environment in the morning. We ended the evening with playing board games and talking. The next day after breakfast we went to the lookout tower, which was located about 40 minutes. A nice walk was followed by lunch and the first workshop focused on planning various small events, larger tours or day trips. We also included workshop focused on Sexual harassment as we feel, it is a topic, that needs to be more talked about. After a short refreshment break, a workshop followed and position of the board representatives what their position means and what is in their agenda. Then we had additional elections and we were happy to fill our board with WPA, Partnership manager and Treasurer. Before dinner there was a game tournament in teams, where everyone could try teamwork and their own skill. At the end, the winners were announced and new members were incorporated into ESN Zlin. The last day we had breakfast, cleaned the rooms and common areas, handed over the cottage and traveled back.
