The aim of this activity was to do a linguistic tandem and introduce and learn a little French and a little Italian through typical phrases, slang or tongue twisters, but also to have the opportunity to know each other.
In May, ESN Strasbourg has the month of Europe where they organise some events around it and they were thinking that it would be nice opportunity to have also an event together. So we did a call on zoom, each Section showed some photos of the own city and explain some particularity, we also asked ourselves questions to help us know better. After we did a quick kahoot on the particularities of Strasbourg and Urbino and then started with the tandem. First with the Italian language, sharing a document on the screen showing the pronunciation and explaining some typical phrases, slang and tongue twisters so that they could both replicate but also how they are written. Afterwards they did the same thing with us. The explanations were in English. It was a good moment to share and exchange a skill like your own language.
