May 2020 was dedicated to the theme of Sustainability with a new edition of Green Month, an initiative totally edited by ESN Italia.
The goal of the campaign is to raise awareness of the need to change our lifestyle in prder to reduce CO2 and other greenhouse gases emission.
ESN Italia has therefore offer food for thought divided into four themes: sustainable mobility; sustainable lifestyle; ecological footprint and deforestation.
In the context of the week dedicated to Ecological Footprint ESN Brescia has decided to educate people about the impact of personal food choice on ecological footprint and how to reduce it, throught a series of instagram stories spread during the week, with data and plant-based recipe suggestions in collaboration with giada_verde, an instagram account dedicated to this topic. At the end of the week we had an online aperitif using Google Meet where we talked about what sustainable aperitif food we had prepared and played a quiz on ecological footprint and sustainable lifestyle.
The goal was to make people learn in an easy and entertaining way how to be more sustainable.
The partecipants to the aperitif had a lovely chat and there is nothing like a good game to lift the spirit and learn how to live better.
