In a friendly and unifying environment, the Polish students shared their knowledge and necessary information about Lodz City and Poland with international students through the use of the Polish language and interactive games. Thanks to the implication of such entertainment, the activity formed an easy-going, comfortable, friendly atmosphere that brought everyone together.
In its main essence, this event aimed to educate and make Erasmus students familiar with the city and Polish culture. To achieve this goal, the local representative created a three-step program. It consisted of an introduction game, a language presentation and an integration game. The introduction game served as a conduit to bring everyone close and know each other. Additionally, this game consisted of some Polish facts about culture, country and its cities. The language presentation consisted of some hard Polish tongue twisters; it served as a sample of what the Polish language sounds like, how to use it and how interesting it is. Lastly, the integration game incorporated thinking and a speaking panel. By giving examples in the form of questions "Who is more likely to..." Erasmus students gained a chance to use critical thinking and voice out their opinions about different participants, tightening the newly found bonds and promoting international inclusivity.
