Goal of the Activity

To present the colourful and multicultural side of Bulgaria on the international Surva Festival and thus show the inclusivity of the host country for the Erasmus students.

Description

We start the year with one remarkable day-trip to the nearby city of Pernik where we will witness the famous Kukeri festival of “Surva”

Known as “The Balkan Halloween,” this event is packed with wild parades, vibrant Kukeri costumes, fire shows, and incredible music. Get ready to immerse yourself in an ancient tradition that will leave you in awe.
