The main objective of the activity was to offer international students the opportunity to learn a new sport, SUP, which takes place in the characteristic element of the city of Ancona, the sea, taking the opportunity to discover one of the most beautiful and well-known places of the Conero Riviera.
International students get to the beach, few kilometers away from the city, by car thanks to some ESN volunteers. We booked SUP boards at the MOKI club in Numana. Once we retrieved the boards, a club instructor gave us an initial small lesson on the sand, then we entered the water and the lesson continued in the sea under the guidance of two instructors. Once everyone learned how to move safely, the instructors led us for a short sea ride of about an hour and a half with a view of most of the Conero Riviera and to discover some beaches and a hidden cave.
