The goal of this action is to foster a sense of community and solidarity, addressing food insecurity while promoting intercultural exchange.
Throughout the day, Erasmus students collaborated in preparing nutritious meals, learning about the importance of sustainable cooking practices, and engaging with local residents. This initiative was not only about food but also about creating connections, sharing stories, and making a positive impact on society. By the end of the day, the event served both the local community and strengthened the bonds between international students.
As part of the Social Impact Days series, this volunteer event invites Erasmus students to actively contribute to a social cause by participating in a Community Kitchen initiative. This hands-on experience allowed to erasmus students to come together, cook, and serve meals to homeless people around Athens.
