Our aim with this particular event was to help Erasmus students settle in our city and create fun opportunities to make this process easier and enjoyable.
First days in a foreign country, besides the excitement and joy, can also come with the feeling of being homesick and overwhelmed.
The first thing they miss when going to a different country is their family and friends.
That’s why we came to the rescue with our event - Speed Friending, to help them navigate through this journey while making new friendships and making the best out of this experience!
The perfect opportunity to meet new people but with a twist! Each of the participants had 5 minutes to have a conversation before switching to the next person. We provided them with 2 sheets - one with rules and a bunch of questions they could use in their conversations, and the second with a table that they could fill out with their new friends' names, ages, fields of study, and possibly contact information.
