For two days, a group of Erasmus students took the opportunity to explore the beautiful southern region of the Czech republic. During the two days we could cover a lot. On the first day, we visited Lednice castle and got a guided tour of the representative's halls of the chateaux and after a greenhouse excursion. We spent the rest of the day in a local wine cellar with a sommelier who taught us valuable information about wine produce and wine in general.
On the next day, our group could visit Punkevní caves nearby with a guided tour and boat ride on the Punkva river. Our guide provided lots of information about the cave system in the Czech Republic and we could educate ourselves about its history. Lastly, our group also took a small hike to get to the viewpoint of the Maccocha abyss.
