The idea was to organise an event on the beach in Ostend with the town's Surf Club. The Surf Club provided a range of sports (football, baseball, archery range, volleyball, etc.) for international students and ESN volunteers.
We organised this activity after the exams so that everyone could get together after this stressful period, get some exercise and relax.
The event, which was open to all Belgian erasmus students and ESN volunteers, started in the late morning and finished in the evening. It was a whole day dedicated to sport.
The Ostend Sports Club provided a range of sports equipment for the participants, including volleyball, football, archery range, baseball, handball and spikeball.
We also organised this event in collaboration with Pernod Ricard to launch the "Drink More Water" campaign. It was a great success.
