Join ESN Tallinn on the 25th of February for a visit to the Seaplane Harbour day!
We will visit the Estonian Maritime Museum, one of Europe's grandest maritime museums. Join us and explore the authentic submarine Lembit from the 1930s, the century-old steam-powered icebreaker Suur Tõll, a Short 184 seaplane replica, mines, cannons and many other life-sized exhibits. You can take a voyage around the world in the Yellow Submarine, photos taken in naval uniforms, the big aquarium, the simulators and many more exciting activities.
In addition to the museum visit, you also have the opportunity to participate in the First Sulps Training, a winter swimming training session. The training focuses on how the human body adapts to cold water, how to safely enter and stay in cold water, and how to kick-start a winter swimming hobby. Please bring your own swimsuit, towel, flip flops, and warm hat.
NB! Winter swimming is normally a safe and health-strengthening activity, however, please be advised that you will be responsible for yourself in the water. Listen to your body and take it easy. Lennusulps instructors will take all possible precautions to make this a safe and nice experience. People with heart or any other chronic disease, please consult with your physician prior to the swim. Swimming in Lennusulps is prohibited if you have any disease causing loss of consciousness.
