Our live edition of the Board Game "Scotland Yard" is a fun way for international students to get to know each other, work together in groups and form strategies in order to find Mr. X. During this event the participants will get to know the public transport in Kiel and learn how to navigate their way through the city.
Mr. X is in the run in Kiel! You have to find him as soon as possible, before he manages to escape!
And this is how the game works:
There will be three different detective groups. Each group will be hunting a different MrX in a set area.The group that finds their Mr. X the fastest wins the game!
During the hunt for Mr. X you are only allowed to use public transport, more specifically, only busses! With the map of the bus network and your phone you should be able to navigate your way through the city just fine. In the WhatsApp groups we created you can stay in contact with your Teammates and discuss your strategy.
And now comes the hard part. As a detective you have to share your live location in the group chat whereas Mr. X only reveals his location every 30 min. Then it's up to you to figure out where he might go next. If you encounter Mr. X at a bus stop you were able to arrest him!
The headquarters will keep an overview of the situation and the location of all group members. Throughout they will ask some questions, set tasks or drop hints on the current location of Mr. X!
