Goal of the Activity

Give international students a unique perspective of Hamburg by exploring the city’s landmarks from the River Elbe, promoting cultural discovery and connection with local heritage.

Description

Have you already visited all the main tourist attractions of Hamburg? Then it is time for you to see it from the water. Take a trip with us on the famous River Elbe✨ We will meet at Landungsbrücken on Sunday at 1.00pm. From there we will start our Schipperntour going all the way to Fuhlsbüttel and back. Be ready to see the most popular areas of the city such as Altona and Othmarschen as well as the famous harbor of Hamburg with all of the huge container ships 🚢. We will also catch a great look at the iconic Elbphilharmonie from the water perspective, so make sure to bring a camera 😉. Most importantly: don’t forget to download your Deutschland ticket 🎟️ or add it to the wallet. You need to have a valid ticket before boarding the ship. We are looking forward to seeing you! And don’t forget to take some warm clothes. Hamburg can get really chilly in the Fall 🤭 Your ESN Hamburg Team ❤️
