Goal of the Activity

The goal of the Salsa and Bachata dance lesson is to introduce participants to the fundamental steps, rhythms, and partner techniques of both dance styles while promoting confidence, coordination, and body awareness. Through guided practice and engaging movement activities, participants will develop basic dance skills, improve social interaction, and experience the cultural richness and musicality of Latin dance in a fun and supportive environment.

Description

The Salsa and Bachata dance lesson provides participants with an engaging introduction to two popular Latin dance styles. The session focuses on basic footwork, rhythm awareness, leading and following techniques, and partner coordination. Through guided instruction, music-based exercises, and practice rounds, participants experience the cultural richness and expressive nature of Latin dance. The atmosphere is energetic, supportive, and social, encouraging both beginners and more experienced dancers to feel comfortable and enjoy the learning process.
