Goal of the Activity
Discover the ancient traditions of the city of Bari.
Description
The 6th of December is a liturgical day of Saint Nicholas, the protector of the City of Bari.
ESN volunteers and Erasmus students gathered to experience this night all together.
We met at 4:00 AM and followed the program provided by the Municipality of Bari.
This was the program of the night:
• 4:00 - Opening of the Basilica of San Nicola + Start of the procession route in the historical center
• 4:30 - Fireworks at Molo Sant'Antonio
• 5:00 - Holy Mass at the Basilica
• 5:45 - Start of the torchlight procession in Piazza San Nicola.
Erasmus students had the opportunity to discover and participate in one of the traditions of our city.
