Goal of the Activity
The main goal of the activity is after the mid-terms to take a breath and have fun together with ESNers and Erasmus students. For this party, we wanted to find a concept and in order to show different kind of music, we choose regaeton music.
Description
Reggaeton is a music style that originated in Puerto Rico during the mid-1990s. It has evolved from dancehall and has been influenced by American hip hop, Latin American, and Caribbean music. Vocals include rapping and singing, typically in Spanish. For winter semester, we have a lot of Erasmus students from Spain. We thought that it could be better to choose regaeton music for Erasmus students from Spain. With the help of that, they could show us their music culture and at the same time feel like home.
