Goal of the Activity
The goal of the event was to teach how to make pottery, and to give students the experience of making it with a sweet atmosphere.
Description
As we started the instructors came and provided us with the clay. They taught us how to shape the clay into desired forms and how to apply patterns to it. Some of us crafted mugs while others crafted plates. While shaping our pottery, we discussed the history of pottery in Anatolia and similar cultures in our countries. Afterward, we painted our pottery accompanied by soothing music in the background. Once everyone finished their pottery, we left
them at the studio to be fired and prepared for use. After one month, we will retrieve our pottery as perfect memories, gifts, creative decorations, and much more.
