The main goal of the ESN picnic in Mogoșoaia Park was to create a friendly and informal space where international and local students could connect, socialize, and build lasting friendships. By spending time outdoors, playing games, and sharing food, participants had the chance to learn about different cultures, strengthen community bonds, and enjoy a fun break from their daily routines.
The ESN picnic took place in the beautiful Mogoșoaia Park, known for its green open spaces, peaceful lake, and views of the historic Mogoșoaia Palace. The event brought together international students and local volunteers for a relaxed afternoon of socializing, games, and cultural exchange.
Before the picnic, the ESN volunteers held a short workshop to plan activities, set up logistics, and discuss how to best engage with the students during the event. This preparation helped create a welcoming and well-organized atmosphere.
At the park, participants gathered on picnic blankets, shared snacks and drinks, played games like frisbee, volleyball, and Uno, and enjoyed music in the background. It was a fun, casual setting where students had the chance to meet new people, learn about each other’s cultures, and unwind in nature. The event ended with group photos, laughter, and new connections that would carry on throughout the Erasmus experience.
