The goal of the Parliament Visit was to provide Erasmus students with an educational and immersive experience that deepened their understanding of Romanian history, politics, and architecture. By visiting one of the most iconic and controversial buildings in the country, the activity aimed to promote historical awareness, civic engagement, and intercultural learning in a formal yet engaging context.
On March 14th, Erasmus students participated in a guided tour of the Palace of the Parliament in Bucharest, one of the most significant landmarks in Romania and the largest civilian administrative building in the world. Starting at 14:20, the group stepped into the monumental halls built during the communist regime, learning about the building’s historical background, architectural features, and political significance. The visit offered a unique opportunity to connect with Romania’s past and present while fostering a deeper appreciation of the country’s governance and cultural identity.
