The Goal of this event is to discover smaller cities in Bulgaria and what they have to offer.
Ovech trip is a bewildering day trip to one of the smaller cities near Varna - Provadia. As we aim for more sustainable transportation we choose to go to our designated location by train and in our opinion this only adds on the cultural experience.
In Provadia we went to the Ovech fortress. Once there our volunteers shared some of the fortress’s history and we looked around taking in the beautiful scenery.
We had a picnic in the fields near the fortress. While there we enjoeyed some music and taught the international students a traditional bulgarian dance.
Afterwards we went for some ice-cream and had a bit of free time to explore around the city or chill and have a break.
