On the occasion of ESN's Social Inclusion Days, we decided to launch a campaign on our Facebook and Instagram pages. Its focus? Emphasizing that persons with disabilities are by default capable of achieving things just as great and sometimes greater than normal people by highlighting 5 historically-significant personalities who cemented their celebrated place in universal history through their work - even though they all had at least one disability each.
The posts were published every other day and tied into the National Day of Romania on December 1st (by spotlighting a Romanian historical personality with disabilities) and the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd.
Based on the final statistics, more than 1000 people reached this campaign and it had around 500 engagements.
