The main goal of this day was to introduce the newly arrived Erasmus students to the culture, landscapes and folklore of one of the most beautiful cities in Belgium, Ghent. This trip was also meant for them to get to know each other better and to build stronger relationships with each other and with us.
We started our day by taking the train from the Liège-Guillemins railway station and, as soon as we arrived, we started a city tour with explanations of the most important places of the city completed with questions to answer. After a free time in the city (the Erasmus students received a booklet with the best, and not so expensive, places to eat in Ghent), we all met to start a wonderful boat tour which revealed all the city’s secrets to us.
