It's time for you to explore nature while in Greece How are you going to do that? But of course by participating in the Olympus hiking event!!!
You'll be hiking at Olympus and you'll visit the archaeological site of Dion. The Physical Education Office of the University of Thessaly in Larisa (Gaiopolis) in the framework οf sports and cultural activities organizes for all students / of the University of Thessaly, and erasmus students, on the 9th of April, a one-day training exercise (walking) in Olympus and a visit of the archaeological site of Dion.

06:45 am: On the main entrance of Gaiopolis Campus for students who are living in the dormitories of Gaioplolis campus and Agios Thomas.
07:00 am: At Agios Achilleios for those who live in the center of Larissa

Long pants.
Clothes that allow movement.
2 pairs of socks.
Hard shoes with embossed sole.
High protection sunscreen, Lip balm for lips hat and a scarf for your neck. A bag with a change of clothes (2 T-shirts, socks, underwear, etc.)

The bus will arrive after 2 hours at Prionia, at an altitude of 1,100m. We will hike in the ravine of Enipeas, on a route with dense vegetation, small natural waterfalls and ponds. Then, we will pass through the monastery of Agios Dionysios to reach the cave that was consecrated by Saint Dionysios.
After hiking for about 4 hours crossing the gorge of the river Enipeas, we will end up in Litochoro. We will visit the archeological site of Dion, we will have launch in a tavern there and return to Larissa
Registrations until Friday 01-4-2022 at the Office of Physical Education from 10:00 am to 13:00am
