The participation in the national sports tournament in San Benedetto del Tronto, known as NEG, underlines the aim of fostering camaraderie, teamwork, and healthy competition among Erasmus students. This event offers a platform for students to engage in various sports activities, promoting physical well-being and an active lifestyle. By participating in NEG, students not only showcase their athletic abilities but also build connections with peers from different backgrounds, promoting cultural exchange and friendship. Additionally, the tournament provides an opportunity for students to represent their university or ESN section, instilling a sense of pride and belonging within the Erasmus community. Overall, the goal of NEG is to create an inclusive and vibrant atmosphere where students can bond over sports, celebrate diversity, and create lasting memories.
The journey began with a train ride to San Benedetto del Tronto, setting the stage for an exciting sports adventure. Over the course of two days, Erasmus students immersed themselves in the spirited atmosphere of the volleyball and soccer tournaments, showcasing their skills and passion for sports. The vibrant energy of the competitions, coupled with the camaraderie among participants, created an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, friendly rivalry, and teamwork. As the tournament concluded, participants boarded the train and went back to Milan.
