Description

As a part of Social Impact Days we invite you to join us in a visit to POLIN Museum - the heart of which is a permanent exhibition, offering a journey through the 1000 year history of Polish Jews, told in many voices and from different perspectives.
It’s a good place for those who want to find out more about the past and Jewish culture, who want to learn from Polish-Jewish history for the future and for all those who want to confront stereotypes and contemporary threats, such as xenophobia and nationalist prejudices. During the exhibition you will have an opportunity to learn more about the history of Polish Jews from the legends of their arrival on Polish soil, through the development of trade, through the Holocaust and the present day. Along the way, stories of kings , inventors, thinkers, Jewish culture, religion and customs await you – the life known from chronicles and newspapers, but also the life known from the streets in Jewish quarters.
This unique exhibition will help you enter a world that no longer exists and become a part of it for a while
