Goal of the Activity

Showcase the history of Italian and milanese evolution of industry, technologies and transports through history. Learn about environmental sustainability and the impact of our habits on the planet.

Description

Among reproductions of the first italian industrial materials and tools, we discovered the evolution of industry and the impact it has in today Italian and global economy. Each section of the museum covers a different aspect: industry, technology, communication and transports. The Museum is dedicated to Leonardo Da Vinci, the tuscan genius of the Renaissance, this is why in the second section guards the models of his iconic projects of engineering.

The thirs section help us undertand the processes of the production of goods, especially food, making us realising the footprint we leave on the enviroment with particular nutrition habits. The museum raised awarness on the matter of climate change and presented to us with a future prospect of the world we live in today.

The last part presents the evolution of rail and aeronautical transportation, with actual models of trains, planes and ships.

This event was organised with the economic support of the University of Milan.
