To create a space for students to explore social issues through film and meaningful discussion, focusing this time on gender equality.
For this Movie Club session, we watch Little Women and gather afterwards for an open discussion. The goal is not only to enjoy a well-loved film, but also to reflect on its themes and connect them to real social issues. Since the movie deals strongly with gender roles, inequality, and women’s empowerment, the discussion naturally shifts toward gender equality and how it relates to our own experiences and societies. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, encouraging everyone to share their opinions, listen to others, and learn from different perspectives. This way, the Movie Club becomes both a cultural and socially impactful activity.
