The main objective of this hike was to let the Erasmus students discover the natural heritage of the Trentino region. Incentivising sustainable travel both through the use of suburban buses to get to the start of the route and by encouraging the pleasure of walking in nature. In addition, the motor activity required to cover 15 km will surely have been good for both their bodies and minds
We organized a beautiful nature hike, in a place very close to Trento. We crossed a verdant forest to reach a charming hillside lake.
The route winds for the most part in the Le Grave Protected Area, a vast marshy basin of glacial origin surrounded by lodgepole pine forests.
We stopped for lunch in a pic nic area near the lake.
In total we walked around 15 km.
