To provide a safe and supportive space for young people to share their experiences, emotions, and challenges, while learning coping strategies for mental well-being through guided discussions led by trained facilitators.
We are excited to announce a new initiative focused on mental well-being
Lead by two trained facilitators we will hold sessions, where you can share your experiences, emotions and thoughts in a safe space, together with other young people
We will work with different themes each session
Friendships:
This is a space where we can share our experiences of having, losing or missing friends.
This session offers a safe space for you to share the challenges, joys and sorrows. Come and share with us.
If relevant, the facilitators will introduce you to coping mechanisms that can help you face the challenges of being in a new city.
About the facilitators:
About Duy:
I am Duy. I am a second-year student of Gestalt psychotherapy. Originally I am from Vietnam, but I have lived in Aarhus for 20 years. Currently, I am working as a scrum master, while working on my degree.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my friends, reading manga, playing board games and badminton.
I am looking forward to engaging in conversations with you about mental well-being.
About Gintare:
I am Gintare. I’m a psychotherapist and coach based in Aarhus, currently in my 3rd year of studies at the Gestalt Institute Scandinavia. I have a background in coaching and psychotherapy and have worked extensively with people navigating stress, anxiety, and major life transitions.
Having lived in six different countries, I bring a broad, multicultural perspective to my work. I’m especially passionate about working with young people, helping them explore their emotions, build resilience, and find clarity in times of uncertainty. My approach is supportive and engaging, creating a space where students can feel heard, explore their thoughts and emotions, and develop a deeper understanding of themselves. I believe in the power of curiosity, openness, and real connection.
In my free time, I love traveling, snowboarding, and kitesurfing—basically anything that keeps me active and exploring new places. I’m also into fashion, psychology books, and enjoying good coffee with good company.
