Goal of the Activity

The goal of the Malbork Trip is to offer Erasmus students a cultural and historical experience outside of Gdańsk, allowing them to discover Poland’s rich medieval heritage. By visiting a site of national and international significance, students gain deeper insight into local history and architecture. Additionally, the trip provides an opportunity for social integration, helping participants to build stronger connections with one another through shared travel experiences, exploration, and informal interactions throughout the day.

Description

The Malbork Trip is a full-day excursion to one of Poland’s most iconic landmarks—the Malbork Castle, the largest brick castle in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Participants will explore the impressive medieval fortress with a guided tour, learning about its fascinating history and the Teutonic Order. The trip also includes time to relax, take photos, and enjoy the charming surroundings of Malbork, making it a perfect mix of education, sightseeing, and social bonding.
