This podcast was all about integration and embracing the differences in cultures. The goal was to raise awareness on integration pros and cons, but also to comfort international students coming to Italy for the first time through the experiences of two non-italian volunteers who immigrated some years back.
The two protagonists recorded a Zoom Call in which they specifically talked about their first experiences with living in a foreign country, what stereotypes they had to encounter and how they dealt with the language barrier. The recording was then sent to other volunteers who edited a video, adjusted sound issues and added english subtitles to the video in order that everything would be perfectly understandable. We also edited a small trailer as a preview for the actual episode, which we uploaded on Instagram a few days before the actual episode.
After that the episode was published on all our social media platforms, with the short 15-minutes version available on IGTV and the full version available on Youtube and Facebook.
