The goal of the Activity was to collect students in a really famous park in Rimini and to make them taste some of the typical local dishes and at the same time for volunteers to try foreign cuisines. In addition we wanted to give the opportunity to learn about other cultures through the kitchen and dialogue. Dishes and meals were made voluntarily to be shared among students and Esn volunteers.
Late morning of a sunny Sunday of September: international students and Esn volunteers gathered in an important park for the Rimini community, next to the Tiberio Bridge; to spend lunch together and the afternoon having fun through activities such as playing cards and ice-breaking games, such as games in which people are involved to get to better know each other and have fun with typical music from Romagna in the background. We had the pleasure to taste biscuits from Finland and Denmark, wine from France, Italian lasagna and Spanish tapas; while always respecting the environment that surrounded us by using compostable glasses, plates and cutlery and cleaning all together before leaving the Park.
