The main goal of this activity was to engage as many participants as possible, in order to create an international environment where everyone can feel healthy and active while doing sports activities during their mobilities.
engage international students from across Romania in the national phase of IEG, so as to nominate the teams and individual athletes who subsequently represented ESN Romania at IEG Coimbra.
The activity was based on a sports competition between international students from across Romania, serving as the national phase of IEG, so as to nominate the teams and individual athletes who were subsequently a part of the Romanian delegation to IEG Coimbra.
Outcomes
We were able to hold the competition after a two-year break due to the pandemic. It was also our first physical national event in Romania since October of 2019. The fact that we managed to get our national events up and running again is extremely useful for us.
