The theme of the event is: Together We Thrive: United in Diversity, Connecting Cultures. The goal is to foster a diverse international environment of cultural exchange, and to create a sense of community where everyone is included
The event started with a welcome speech, followed by an open discussion on the concepts of community and cultural differences. Then, we were offered dinner provided by an organization that helps refugees and migrants in the netherlands, which cooked traditional syrian food for us. Lastly, participants could take part in a selection of workshops such as Dance workshops, Painting sessions, Educational debates, Poetry and Spoken Words, Movie & Reflection. We hosted the latter by showing the documentary Human and discussing it. The other workshops were organized by other organizations
