To encourage international talk by sharing cultural differences not only in terms of traditional cuisine.
On 6 May 2024, our section held a BBQ event in the Botanical Garden venue in Olomouc. We enjoyed the pleasant weather and prepared the fire and some refreshments for the students. Approximately 20 to 30 people came to enjoy the afternoon, grill some food, groove to the shared playlist, or play on the grass. Participants had a chance not only to enjoy a traditional czech BBQ with czech sausages, marinated meat, and cheese but before the event, everyone was asked to bring something typical of their cuisine. During the event, people compared food from diverse countries and had a chance to prepare it themselves on the grill. While playing ball games they had a chance to burn calories from these amazing feasts.
As a bonus, those who brought a T-shirt could also ask others to write a message as a memory of their Erasmus. We had a good time just before the storm started.
