During this event, we will have guests who will be there to share their own stories and break stereotypes and prejudices. It is basically a library of people sharing their stories instead of reading them in books. A Human Library is when books are replaced with people who are treated with ignorance, stigmatization, discrimination or racism because of certain characteristics and they share their own unique stories.
In collaboration with the organisation ‘Human Library-Cyprus’, we present to you the one and only event of the semester ‘Human Library’.
But what is a Human Library?
Human Library is a library of people talking and sharing their knowledge and experiences.
It is a safe space for dialogue through personal conversation, where people are ‘‘books’’ prepared to be published and read like an open book.
