Goal of the Activity

To show exchange students how they can make an iconic Polish dish - Pierogi - and for them to experience the traditional Easter Holiday.

Description

The "How to Make Pierogi" project is a unique initiative that introduces participants to Polish culture and Easter traditions. As part of the program, there was a meeting with the local rural women’s association, who shared their knowledge and experience. Participants learned how to make pierogi and also prepared and decorated Easter eggs by hand. They took part in creating colorful paper flowers used to decorate palms for Palm Sunday. The project concluded with a traditional Easter meal, during which everyone had the chance to taste regional dishes
