Goal of the Activity
Museum visit to learn about the darkest times of the 20th-century history of Hungary.
Description
On Sunday we are planning to visit the House of Terror museum. The building of the House of Terror museum itself is the former headquarters of the “Hungarian KGB” from the communist times of Hungary. The Museum contains exhibits related to the fascist and communist regimes in 20th-century Hungary and is also a memorial to the victims of these regimes, including those detained, interrogated, tortured or killed in the building. (On the first Sunday of each month the museum is free to visit for citizens of the EEA.)
