This activity was a part of Spring Social Inclusion Days 2021, an initiative that aims to advocate for inclusive mobility programmes, through activities that bring together students and members of local communities, in more than 42 countries.
We all know what homelessness is, we know that its numbers are increasing and we know the consequences that result from it. What we sometimes don’t know, is how to act upon it, how to bring awareness to it and how to make a difference in the community. As a part of the Social Inclusion Days, we wanted to share a few things that anyone can do to start making a local difference for people facing housing instability.
We share some things that anyone can do to help bring awareness to homelessness. We also shared some statistics regarding homelessness and some associations in Coimbra in which anyone can join to support the homeless people in Coimbra.
