Our first real Austrian (more than 1000m elevation gain) hike will be on Sunday.
The hike has a length of around 18 km and there is an elevation gain of 1216 m. It will be difficult!
The hike will start in Payerbach, then we go up to the Krummbachstein peak (1602m) and then we walk down Schneeberg to Puchberg, where we take the train back.
▬▬▬▬ WHERE & WHEN ▬▬▬
We will meet at Wien Hauptbahnhof, in front of Starbucks (on the -1 floor). If you arrive with the U1 metro, just go straight until you see us.

We will be back in Vienna around 20:00.
.▬▬▬ WHAT TO BRING ▬▬▬▬
Please make sure to bring the following things:
- Food and water (at least 1 litre!)
- Good shoes – either hiking boots or other sports shoes with good grip!
- A jacket!
- The money in cash. It includes the tickets for the train. Please bring the exact amount!
- also extra money in cash in case we go to eat at a cabin in the mounains

10€/13€ with/without ESNcard. You pay at the meeting point, so please bring the exact amount.
(No payment if you have a Klima Ticket)
